Dear ,

Nanny Cay Nations Cup & Peter Holmberg

Peter Holmberg is set to race in the 2007 Nanny Cay Nation's Cup. Brother John confirmed this in St. Thomas on Sunday. Peter will be joining John's BEYC USA team and they will be looking to break the Hirsts' dominance of this event. Go here to read more.

Entries are flowing in for the NCNC. The total number of teams will be capped at 20 for this year's event. Richard Wooldridge at RIP headquarters notes, "Peter who...?"  Seriously though, we expect a full entry this year making it the biggest NCNC ever. We will use 10 IC24's with one as a spare."

BEYC Drake's Challenge Is This Weekend

The IC24 racing season kicks off in earnest this weekend with the BEYC's 'Drake's Challenge'.  On Friday, 11 BVI based IC24s will be towed 20 miles East to North Sound, Virgin Gorda...one of the finest racing locations on the planet!

'Wind Guru' predicts some breezy conditions at the end of the week with winds over 20kts. There is the possibility of some liquid sunshine on Sunday. We have all the local owners plus two visiting teams who are getting in a bit of sneaky practice for the NCNC.

Read more about the 'Drakes Challenge' and find out who the favourites are.
